Maria Center, located at the Center at Donaldson, provides aging-in-place senior independent living that includes a variety of intergenerational experiences and activities that promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. In 2023, 375 transportation vouchers were offered to residents rather than them paying out-of-pocket. Trips to physician offices, dentists, optometrists, cancer treatments, and blood work were frequent. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, our residents utilized the vouchers and were able to focus on their well-being, rather than how to get to their appointments.

In addition to assisting with transportation, our residents receive extra supportive services such as personal care, help with laundry, meal delivery, feeding, toileting, showering, medication reminders, and wellness checks. This not only ensures the safety and happiness of our residents but gives their families peace of mind as well. One family member said, “Maria Center is the best place ever. We are grateful for every part of the Center, including the staff for the care and compassion they provide, and their willingness to always go above and beyond every day.”
